Mission Possible is about bringing the light and hope that Jesus brought to the World to those people and communities who need it the most.. This message will not self destruct but will live forever!
In the past the church was always at the centre of the community, providing both spiritual and practical help to all from children to the elderly. Recently we have seen a spate of closures of community centres and children’s and youth groups, often leaving the vulnerable without a safe environment to in which to socialise. Mission Possible is about showing people that there is an alternative to today’s often uncaring society and that things don’t have to be like that. It won’t change everything overnight but it will provide hope that we can all build on together for a better future.
We are organising a week of events this summer including a carnival, a mobile beach party, puppet shows as well as music and praise events – all of which will be both free and fun. If you are able to help towards making this exciting week happen then please visit our secure online donation page where your gift will be gratefully received.
Mission Possible will begin at St James’ Over Darwen on Sunday 2nd July and end with the big event at Ewood on Monday 10th but the message will go on…
