Mission Possible is about bringing the light and hope that Jesus brought to the World to those people and communities who need it the most..
In the past the church was always at the centre of the community, providing both spiritual and practical help to all from children to the elderly. Recently we have seen a spate of closures of community centres and children’s and youth groups, often leaving the vulnerable without a safe environment to in which to socialise. Mission Possible is about showing people that there is an alternative to today’s often uncaring society and that things don’t have to be like that. It won’t change everything overnight but it will provide hope that we can all build on together for a better future.
We held a week of events in July 2017 including a carnival at Hoddlesden, a mobile beach party at Roman Road library, Highercroft and many other fun events finishing with the Big Event at Ewood attended by 3500 children from over 30 schools across the diocese. A big thank you to all who helped to make it happen and we hope those of you who came along had a great time. We will soon have photos from the events on here but in the meantime here’s the gallery from the Big Event at Ewood>>>
This was the Mission Possible Event List for the week – the event posters are also listed below.
Mission Possible… This message will not self destruct but will live forever!
